Award-winning country music star Vince Gill has set up a 43-date summer/fall tour with Northeast, Midwest, West Coast and Southeast legs. The 11-date mostly Northeast run starts on August 18 in Wellington, OH and goes through August 31 in Hampton Beach, NH. The 10 shows on the Midwest leg start September 17 in Wassau, WI and run through September 27 in Muncie, IN. The 10 concerts on the West Coast start October 21 and end on November 2 in Denver, CO. The nine show Southeastern run starts November 15 in Clearwater. FL and concludes on November 24 in Alexandria, VA.
On July 28, Gill will join his wife Amy Grant in Colorado Springs, CO for a benefit concert to kick off the 2008 US Senior Open. He also has three shows booked in Nashville, TN from January 15-17.
Gill is still promoting his two-year-old massive release, “These Days,” a 4-CD set of 43 never before released songs that he either wrote or co-wrote. It features more than 20 guest performers, including Grant, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood, Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell, Phil Everly, LeAnn Rimes, Gretchen Wilson, Michael McDonald and steel-guitar virtuoso Buddy Emmons.
Gill has sold more than 26 million albums, earned 19 Grammys and won 18 Country Music Association Awards.
