R&B singer-songwriter Alicia Keys is just one of the touring artists winding down for the season during the week ending September 29 as compiled by TicketNews.
The pianist has been on the road since her North American tour kicked off on April 19 at Hampton Coliseum in Hampton, VA. Keys is wrapping her itinerary for the States on September 28 at Anselmo Valencia Amphitheater in Tucson, AZ. The songstress has more international dates scheduled through the end of the year, including a December run of New Zealand and Australia with Jordin Sparks.
Sparks, the season six American Idol winner, has an event of her own closing this week. The pop singer is slated to perform at the single-day PST Fest 2008 with Jesse McCartney on September 26. On the same day, the Foo Fighters are wrapping their North American tour with a show at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, NV.
This is also the final chance to buy tickets to back-to-back NASCAR events at the Kansas Speedway this weekend. On Saturday, September 27, the racing association hosts the NASCAR Nationwide Series: Kansas Lottery 300. The stock cars will hit the pavement again on Sunday for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Kansas 400. Both racing series have more events scheduled through November.
“Last Chance” information is compiled at the beginning of the week, based on touring acts whose current itineraries are closing over the course of that week. The availability of tickets for Last Chance events depends on primary and secondary seller inventory, and may vary as tickets are sold in the days leading up to each event.
