Radio City Music Hall continues to lead the pack in TicketNews’s exclusive venues rankings for the week ending Sunday, November 23. For the fourth week running, Radio City dominated all competitors, coming in this week with a power score of 5.34. Ticket sales for its Christmas Spectacular are keeping this venue at the top of the list week after week.

Madison Square Garden (MSG) came in at number two this week, power scoring a 3.10. Ticket sales for artists such as Tina Turner, shows like Cirque du Soleil: Wintuk, and New York Knicks basketball maintain MSG as a solid top five finisher. For the first time in three weeks, the Gershwin Theatre follows MSG in the rankings, falling one slot to number three. Solid sales for its musical Wicked keep this a popular venue. The Gershwin power scores a 2.99 this week.

TD Banknorth Garden in Boston, MA moves up two on the list this week to the fourth position. With a power score of 2.03, the Garden can thank strong sales for Boston Celtics tickets for its upward mobility this week, as well as for upcoming shows by performers like Metallica.

The Georgia Dome drops down one to the number five slot this week. The host of college football’s SEC Championship Game next month power scores a 1.93 this week. Coming in at number six this week is Dolphins Stadium, a new arrival to the top ten this season. The Stadium is helped by very strong sales for Miami Dolphins tickets, which lead the TicketNews Top Sports Events rankings this week. The venue will also host the final U.S. date for the Madonna Sticky and Sweet Tour, after which she moves on to Mexico and South America. The venue has a power score of 1.82 this week.

Holding steady at number eight this week is the MGM Grand Garden Arena with a power score of 1.68. The Garden Arena recently was host to popular holiday performers the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and it will soon see concert dates from the Jonas Brothers.

The Vivian Beaumont Theatre at Lincoln Center drops down two to the number nine position this week. The home to hit musical South Pacific has a power score of 1.58. Finally, Giants Stadium dropped sharply this week, down five slots to the number ten position. Football’s home to the popular New York Giants and New York Jets finished with a power score of 1.52.

TicketNews Exclusive Rankings and Power Scores are based on ticket sales for venues from the TicketNetwork Exchange™, the world’s largest secondary market exchange. A Power Score illustrates a given venue’s category-specific significance. Two factors are used to calculate a power score: total ticket sales for a venue, and total ticket sales within the category. As such, power scores should only be used to compare venues within a particular category.
