The all-star country concert and April 6 television taping of “George Strait: ACM Artist of the Decade” from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV, is open to fans.

To air at a later date on the CBS Television Network, the live taping produced by dick clark productions will feature performances by Faith Hill, Toby Keith, Tim McGraw, Sugarland, Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and more paying tribute to “The King of Country” George Strait and his legendary 25-year career.

Tickets are priced at $200, $150 and $100 and are available through Ticketmaster. Proceeds of all sales benefit the Academy of Country Music Charitable Fund (ACMCF). The 44th Academy of Country Music Awards is dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in the country music industry.

Only four other acts have received the Artist of the Decade honor, including Marty Robbins in 1969, Loretta Lynn in 1979, Alabama in 1988 and Garth Brooks in 1998. This marks the first time the Artist of the Decade honor will be presented as a separate television special.

The taping occurs the day after the 44th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, also at the Grand Garden Arena, and broadcast live on the CBS Television Network.
