For the 13th year, Superfly Productions, which co-promotes the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, will present a concert series during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The Superfly During Jazzfest series will run from April 24 through May 2 at various Big Easy venues, including the Contemporary Arts Center and the Riverboat Creole Queen, among many others.

The series will present national talent alongside acts from New Orleans’ rich music scene. The Superfly During Jazzfest concert series began to fulfill a demand for nighttime music events during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

The series features special collaborations and unique bills. For example, the Funky Meters will be joined by New Orleans superstar Cyril Neville for a May 1 concert with Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Galactic will perform aboard the Riverboat Creole Queen with special guests Walter “Wolfman” Washington, Troy “Trombone Shorty” Andrews and Big Sam on April 30. Newcomers to the Superfly During Jazzfest Concert Series include The Black Keys on April 30 and Death Cab for Cutie on May 2.

For the series, Superfly has forged a multi-year partnership with StubHub to offer fans unique VIP Fan Experience Ticket Packages to all of the shows that will be a part of the StubHub Concert Series. The exclusive VIP ticket packages include special artist meet and greets, photo opportunities, VIP viewing areas, signed artist memorabilia and more. Proceeds from these package sales will benefit New Orleans charities: The New Orleans Musician’s Clinic and Common Ground Relief.

“This multi-year partnership is the continuation of a budding relationship between StubHub and Superfly Productions,” said Chuck La Vallee, head of Music Business Development for StubHub in a statement. “We couldn’t be more pleased to be supplying fans with this special access to the StubHub Concert Series at Superfly During Jazzfest, while also raising money for New Orleans charities. We look forward to continuing to partner with Superfly on future events.”

Conceived in 1997, the Superfly during Jazzfest Concert Series eventually attracted thousands of fans from all over the country, and became the foundation for the iconic Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival. “There still isn’t any other city like New Orleans,” added Superfly’s Jonathan Mayers. “It means so much to us to celebrate there and support the incomparable music scene.”
