It took a ninth inning rally with two outs for the Philadelphia Phillies to beat the Colorado Rockies in the frigid Colorado weather Monday night, and now the defending World Series champs will face the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series (NLCS) beginning Thursday in L.A.

Tickets for the games in Philadelphia, Games 3, 4 and 5, if necessary, have been a hot commodity over the past day, in fact the average ticket price on the secondary market is outpacing the New York Yankees, according to leading ticket search engine FanSnap. The Yankees will face the Los Angeles Angels in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) beginning Friday in New York.

The average price for a Phillies ticket is currently $380, while Yankees tickets are averaging $344. The lowest listed ticket price on FanSnap is $173 for the Phillies and $150 for the Yankees.

“There is tremendous ticket availability and price variability,” said Christian Anderson, spokesperson for FanSnap. “For the October 18 game in Philadelphia [Game 3], there are tickets in Outfield 142 listed for $263 and $362 in the same row.”

FanSnap gathers data from several major secondary ticket sites, and the company said more than 4,500 tickets are currently available for Game 3.

On the West Coast, the average ticket price is considerably less for both the Dodgers and the Angels. The average price for the games in Dodger Stadium is $126, and $219 for the Angels. The least expensive ticket for a Dodgers game is $46, and FanSnap said it’s a buyer’s market because more than 12,000 tickets were available.
