Tickets for upcoming concert dates from singer Chris Brown as well as tickets to an upcoming appearance by Jon Stewart are on sale throughout the holiday weekend ending September 5 as compiled by TicketNews.
This weekend’s onsales list is truncated due to the holiday weekend, but there are still several interesting events among the list. First, tickets are on sale today for Chris Brown’s upcoming concert in Albuquerque. Brown, whose most recent album debuted at number one on the Billboard charts and has spawned four top ten R&B singles, has made a strong comeback from his past legal troubles.
Also with tickets to an upcoming concert on sale today is Lady Antebellum. One of today’s most popular country cross-over artists, the band shot to international stardom with the success of their second album, “Need You Now.” Their single with the same name spent six weeks at number one, and still enjoys strong radio play. Lady Antebellum’s third album, “Own the Night” will be released on September 13th and already has one single that has reached the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100.
Rounding out the weekend’s concert onsales are tickets to an upcoming concert from Lindsey Buckingham. One of the original members of Fleetwood Mac, Buckingham has enjoyed solo success following the acrimonious break-up of the band. Recently, both Buckingham and fellow Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks have separately been quoted as saying there will be a new Fleetwood Mac album in the future.
Finally this weekend, tickets are on sale today for an upcoming appearance by Jon Stewart at Indiana University. Host of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” which is one of the most popular programs with young adults, Stewart was named the most trusted television anchor in 2009. The Daily Show has garnered Stewart 14 Emmy awards, as well as a host of other accolades.
