PRESS RELEASE: “DIGONEX KICKS OFF DYNAMIC PRICING FOR UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH FLORIDA”

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (Digonex) October 19, 2011 — Leading pricing software developer, Digonex, announced today that the University of South Florida (USF) will be the first college to use its Sports & Entertainment Analytical Ticketing System (SEATS). The USF Bulls football team will make use of the dynamic commerce engine that systematically makes pricing recommendations based upon econometric and behavioral principles, starting with their next home game vs. Cincinnati on October 22 at Raymond James Stadium.

“USF has prided itself on providing affordable ticket prices for our fans and that will continue with this partnership,” said Jim Louk, USF Assistant Athletic Director for Sales and Broadcasting. “We look forward to working with Digonex as we continue to make Bulls football the best possible value for our fans.”

SEATS employs a client customizable approach, making use of dozens of parameters to calculate the best price for tickets. The system also provides day-to-day ticket pricing flexibility and can broaden the ticket-buying fan base by giving fans more price options for seats that have been unused in the past or currently go unsold.

“We are excited to bring dynamic pricing to college sports with USF,” said Jan Eglen, PhD., CEO of Digonex. “With SEATS, the Bulls can adjust ticket prices for the entire football stadium daily based on real-time market conditions with just a few mouse clicks. USF is an excellent Division I university with an outstanding athletic program and we are pleased to welcome our first collegiate ticketing partner and a member of the Big East Conference.”

The new system applies only to single-game ticket sales and does not affect season ticket holder pricing.
