FanXchange, Canada’s online ticket marketplace, announced a partnership that will allow consumers to search for and purchase live event tickets directly on, one of the leading sports websites in Canada., which is owned by Rogers Communications, Canada’s largest communications company, has a very loyal following. Corey Koffler, director of strategic development for FanXchange told TicketNews via email that the integration with is the first phase in a long-term partnership strategy with Rogers Communications.

“By partnering with we are connecting millions of sports enthusiasts with the FanXchange brand, while providing them with a safe and secure method to find and purchase tickets online,” Koffler told TicketNews.

According to a recent press release, Ticket Central features millions of fan-listed tickets on several pages of the website including team pages, league pages, scores and schedules.

“FanXchange is deeply integrated into so that fans are always one click away from finding tickets to events that excite them,” said Koffler in an email to TicketNews. “‘Ticket Central’ widgets are located across the site, giving fans access to millions of tickets for sporting events across North America.”

The partnership also includes a socially driven marketing campaign aimed at reaching 18 to 34-year-old males that will launch at the end of the month, according to the press release. Koffler added that the partnership would be promoted using online advertisements, homepage takeovers, and TV commercials on the Sportsnet network.

FanXchange’s most recent partnership comes just weeks after they announced their venture with Canada’s leading national newspaper, the National Post. TicketNews recently discussed the partnership that led to the creation of the Ticket Centre, which makes it easy for readers to purchase tickets related to the content that they are reading.
