Thrillcall, a live event discovery service that provides access to daily offers and real-time online and mobile alerts, has announced that they are now partnered with over 60 venues across three major cities to give music fans a one-stop place to discover, access, and purchase live music offers.
The free mobile app, which launched earlier this year, allows users to choose a city to view listings such as tonight’s music and exclusive daily offers. Listings are available for every major city across the country.
Since launching the app, Thrillcall has significantly grown their network, working with industry big shots like Live Nation, Tickets.com, and Ubert to deliver more accurate music event listings and the best exclusive offers. According to a recent press release, the growing event discovery service has also successfully added localized, exclusive offers for Los Angeles, New York City, and San Francisco and will add three more major cities coming this fall.
Thrillcall lists events at some of the country’s most popular venues like The Roxy, Webster Hall, Viper Room, and Shoreline, just to name a few. Fans can also search for major music festivals and events and purchase exclusive offers like VIP passes, tickets to intimate or secret shows, exclusive after events, and more.
The Thrillcall mobile app allows music fans to decide to attend a music event the day of the show and still have the opportunity to purchase offers or simply browse local show listings to see what’s happening in their area.
In addition to their mobile app, the Thrillcall site lets users search by artist or venue to see upcoming shows, similar artists, and fan reviews. The site also lists things that are “happening now” like which cities have had new events added. Music fans can also see their friends’ recommendations by logging in to their Facebook account from the Thrillcall site.
Matthew Tomaszewicz, co-founder of Thrillcall, told TicketNews in a recent email that the original goal of the company was to offer the best event data in the industry, but Thrillcall has since adapted to the change in consumer behavior and has built the company based on the growing trend of discovering and purchasing live event tickets through mobile devices.
Tomaszewicz told TicketNews that “the key product feature [of Thrillcall] is that you can see every show that is playing in a city and link out to purchase a ticket or purchase directly through the app. No one does that and the comprehensiveness combined with the industry-leading UI (user interface) ability to purchase right then and there.”
Several upcoming artists have utilized Thrillcall to offer fans exclusive experiences. Ra Ra Riot was the first-ever live show sold and ticketed through a mobile app and Dispatch used Thrillcall’s app to send fans tour ticket promotions and push notifications.
“We’re always on the lookout for new technologies that can help us promote our shows, but Thrillcall helped us to go beyond that,” said Rebecca Zeller of indie rock band Ra Ra Riot, in a recent press release. “Using the Thrillcall app, we were also able to increase fan engagement, build awareness of our music and sell tickets to an exclusive show in NYC. The app also gave our followers a unique experience, as all the ticketing was done through the app and we were able to throw a more intimate show. We definitely see tools like Thrillcall helping artist think of new ways to provide exclusive packages, shows and tickets to fans.”
Tomaszewicz said in an August 24 press release that more than 30 percent of Thrillcall users return each week to purchase new offers.
