With a national tour currently playing in Los Angeles at the Patages Theatre in addition to the outstanding Broadway production, it is no surprise that “The Book of Mormon” leads TicketNews®’ Events Rankings list for the week ending September 30, 2012.

Making the biggest jump this week was pop-rocker Pink, with a 15 position improvement to the second spot, after announcing her first tour in three years. The announcement of The Truth About Love Tour coincided with the release of the artist’s sixth studio album The Truth About Love. A loyal fanbase and successful lead single, “Blow Me (One Last Kiss),” helped Pink’s newest album achieve a No. 1 debut on Billboard 200 a first for the artist.

Pink is scheduled to hit the road on The Truth About Love Tour early 2013 with a kick off date of February 13 at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona. The North American leg of the tour will run through March 28, making stops in Chicago, Toronto, and Boston, among others. Upon wrapping up this portion of the tour, Pink will be performing across Europe and just recently announced dates in Australia. TicketNews Exclusive Rankings and Power Scores are based on ticket sales from the TicketNetwork Exchange™. Two factors are used to calculate a power score: total ticket sales from the given event and total ticket sales within the category. Since the sum of all events’ power scores equals 100 in any given category, an individual event’s Power Score represents its category-specific significance. Top Event Power Scores should only be used to compare events within a particular category, and not across categories.
