Goviva, one of the most trusted sources for once-in-a-lifetime, unique experiences and travel packages, has reworked their identity and will now offer more than just sports and entertainment experiences.

Formerly known as Elite Experiences, the company was predominantly known for their Super Bowl packages that included things like access to the Maxim party, a pregame tailgate party, and an autograph session with NFL players. Goviva president Robert Tuchman knew from the company’s inception that he wanted a new name that truly represented the brand. The team finally settled on the name “Goviva,” which comes from the Latin phrase that means, “to live life,” because the Goviva’s unique experiences are created to inspire people to do just that.

“I wanted to have a site that was the place for all these bucket-list experiences to exist and be packaged all-inclusive,” Tuchman told ESPN.com.

Aside from adopting a new name, Tuchman explained to TicketNews® that the company has also expanded to focus on “passion points” and create opportunities that allow people to enjoy experiences with likeminded people. Goviva.com has experiences and travel packages available for sporting events, active lifestyle, arts and fashion, celebrity experiences, entertainment, film, food and wine, and music. The package prices include fees, which means consumers will not be surprised by any additional fees charged by Goviva, such as a service charge.

Experiences currently being offered include a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Getaway, a VIP view of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and accommodations at a luxury New York City landmark, exclusive Rose Bowl and 2013 Super Bowl experiences, and a ticket to attend the next Country Music Awards.

Goviva also offers several unique experiences hosted by celebrities like the chance to train like a champion with Olympic long-distance runner Meb Keflezighi, home-style cooking with chef Rick Bayless, a cooking experience with Top Chef‘s Tre Wilcox, and an opportunity to attend a clinic with Olympic gold medal gymnast Kerri Strug.

According to their website, the Goviva team has been creating and offering unique experiences for over 15 years. When someone purchases one of these exclusive packages, Goviva provides them with their own individual Goviva Experience Specialist to handle all the planning; recommend dining, shopping, and entertainment options; arrange VIP privileges, and handle all special requests.

“We want people to live life and have no regrets at the end of the day. [Our mission] is to give them the opportunities for once-in-a-lifetime trips,” Tuchman told TicketNews® via email. “We really want to change people’s lives by giving them experiences that have a lasting effect on their being.”

The packages vary in price, with most costing in the thousands, but for some this is a small price to pay for experiences that appeal to their passion and promise to be life changing. According to their website, experiences range from $620 to attend the Palm Dessert Food and Wine Festival to $20,627 for an excursion to the Komodo Islands on a luxury Samata yacht.
