Lin-Manuel Miranda, creator of award-winning hip-hop musical Hamilton, will take the popular show on the road with a tour that’s been extended from 5 to 20 cities in 2018, the show’s Twitter page announced on New Year’s Eve.

Miranda left the lead role last summer, but it continues to sell out show after show around the world. Hamilton was nominated for a record-breaking 16 Tony Awards and won 11, including Best Musical.

The tour kicks off this weekend in San Diego, stopping in Denver, Houston, Las Vegas, Boston, and more while it continues runs in New York, London, and Chicago. Additional cities are yet to be scheduled, but will have to be worked around a special three-week engagement in San Juan, Puerto Rico in January of 2019, which Miranda announced following the devastation of the island by Hurricane Maria. Miranda, a Puerto Rican-American and vocal advocate of the island’s recovery, will reprise the lead role of Alexander Hamilton for the PR shows.
