Cheap Trick is kicking-off their appearance on Poison’s summer tour, and just in time for the first show, they released a new single.

“The Summer Looks Good On You” dropped last night, which seems like another rock hit to add to the band’s collection of fan favorites — among tunes like “I want You to Want Me,” “Surrender,” and “The Flame.” The track is not only a guitar-driven tune that’s perfect for dancing along to, but it’s also a great song to commence the summer with.

The band, whom were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2016, are ready to once again team up with Poison, which Rick Nielsen noted had “always been fun with these guys.”

“It’s going to be a mega concert and party combined,” Brett Michaels of Poison said when the tour was announced. “C.C., Bobby, Rikki and myself together will bring NOTHING BUT A GOOD TIME!”

Throughout the trek, dubbed “Poison…Nothin’ But A Good time 2018,” the duo will make stops at arenas and amphitheaters across the country, starting off in Irvine, California tonight, May 18. They will play some big cities like Nashville, Atlanta, Detroit, Chicago, Salt Lake City, Jacksonville, and Cincinnati before wrapping up in Hollywood, Florida on July 1.

Following the tour, Cheap Trick will make several stops at festivals and shows throughout the summer like Milwaukee’s Summerfest, North Dakota’s State Fair, New York’s Spiedle Festival, and Du Quoin State Fair in Illinois. Additionally, they will play with Def Leppard and Journey on select dates of their tour.

Poison, known for their lively performances, haven’t released new music since 2007. Even more than 10 years later, the group is still on the road, entertaining crowds with classic hits since their debut 1986 record, Look What The Cat Dragged In. Tracks like “Nothin’ But A Good Time,” “Talk Dirty To Me,” “Unskinny Bop,” “Something To Believe In,” and of course, the smash hit “Every Rose Has Its Thorns,” have kept the group a vital member of the rock community.
