Dennis Rodman, the former NBA great and pop-icon, is now taking center court once again as the new Head of Business Development for AnyTickets.com, a Houston-based ticketing company.

“Well, the coolest thing I’ve done lately, besides my recent trip, is that I’m part of a major corporation called AnyTickets.com – I’m the lead adviser of Business Development – these guys are a leader in event ticket sales, they invest in major events worldwide; Super Bowl, NBA, Final Four, every concert on the planet, Hamilton, you name it man – it’s a perfect fit for me, because I love sports and I love music,” Rodman said.

In addition to ticket sales, AnyTickets.com offers a variety of unique experiences and “once in a lifetime packages”. Clients may want to shoot free throws with current and former basketball starts, take batting practice at an MLB game, attend a Hollywood party as a VIP, and much more.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

Marcus Stern, a partner in AnyTickets.com, expressed his excitement at having Rodman join the team. “We are beyond thrilled to have Dennis as Head of Business Development for AnyTickets.com. Dennis knows everybody from athletes to movie stars to (obviously) politicians and heads of state. That’s perfect because he will be handling the premium “once in a lifetime” experiences for the company,” Stern added.

At AnyTickets.com, Rodman will bring these relationships to bear in helping AnyTickets.com expand their exclusive offerings, build their affiliate program, and attract new clients. 2018 projected scales will be approximately $100 million, with sales for 24 months to be projected to be over $200 million per year. Their ticket broker affiliate program allows brokers who join the program, to focus on the core of their business. Unlike other industry consolidators, AnyTickets.com differentiates itself by fully funding inventory costs, while also offering consulting and full scale inventory management from analytics, pricing, to fulfillment.

In his new role at AnyTickets.com, Rodman will attend this summer’s Ticket Summit conference, an annual event for the ticketing and live entertainment industry. A central part of Ticket Summit is its networking opportunities, including the Networking Cocktail Party and the Closing Gala, where attendees can mingle with leaders in the ticketing industry, including Rodman. Ticket Summit will be held July 16-18, 2018 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas. Passes are $799 and available on the Ticket Summit website or by calling 860.644.4000 opt 4.
