Guns N’ Roses, who are currently on their “Not In This Lifetime Tour,” have announced a final stop in Honolulu, Hawaii – a first for the legendary rock group.
The band played shows across the U.S. and Europe on tour and headlined five festivals this summer. Upcoming previously announced shows are in Mexico, the Philippines, Malaysia, and the United Arab Emirates. After wrapping-up overseas in Johannesburg, South Africa late November, Guns N’ Roses will head to Hawaii for their first show in the state in their 30-plus year career. The Hawaii date will take place in Honolulu on December 8 at Aloha Stadium.
The latest Guns N’ Roses lineup features singer Axl Rose, keyboardist Dizzy Reed, and founding members Slash and McKagan. While the group hasn’t released a new record since 2008’s Chinese Democracy, they dropped a remastered version of Appetite for Destruction earlier this year, along with the previously unreleased single “Shadow Of Your Love.”
Since the current lineup has worked so well, there’s been speculation of new music on the way. While speaking to Iceland Magazine this summer, Rose noted that “Right now our focus is on touring and the shows but everyone seems to be getting along so you never know.”
