The alt-rock band Nothing More are hitting the road next year with bands Of Mice & Men, Badflower and Palisades in support of their 2017 LP, The Stories We Tell Ourselves.

“The Truth Tour” is due to kick-off on February 21 in Phoenix, Arizona, making stops in cities like Hartford, New York, Charlotte, Minneapolis, and Houston. San Antonio, Texas will close-out the jaunt on March 23. A press release notes that the tour’s name was based-off “the concept that art and music and the spirit of rock ‘n’ roll are pure forms of truth that can bring people together, spark new ideas, new ways of thinking and through that, trigger changes in ourselves and in our world.”

“Concerts are perfect environments to stimulate the revelation of a truth, an ‘Ah-HA!’ moment, because we are all sharing the energy of the music and the moments of community and inspiration, moments that can affect a positive change,” Nothing More vocalist Jonny Hawkins said. “It’s not about any one political movement or cause, it’s about everybody searching for the truth in all things, and putting that new awareness into action.”

Nothing More will be joined by Of Mice & Men, Badflower, and Palisades. Hawkins said that he is excited to have “such a great lineup” on their biggest headlining tour to date, noting that while he’s been a fan of groups Palisades and Badflower, the band has always wanted to tour with Of Mice & Men.

Throughout the tour, concertgoers will be able to register to vote with the non-partisan organization HeadCount, which helps first-time voters start their voting process. Andy Bernstein, executive director of HeadCount, said that this upcoming tour reflects HeadCount’s “driving ethos” that voting is a person’s truth.

“We appreciate how Nothing More empowers and challenges their fanbase to become more engaged in the democratic process — and the band leads by example with their own civic participation,” Bernstein said. “We’re looking forward to registering and educating voters with Nothing More and shedding light on just how easy it is to make your voice heard.”

Additionally, Nothing More has teamed up with the non-profit movement To Write Love On Her Arms, donating one dollar from each ticket sale to the organization. TWLOHA helps those struggling with depression or addiction. Through “thoughful songwriting” and repping TWLOHA gear while touring, the band has helped their fans get involved in a “search for the truth,” Chad Moses of TWLOHA said.

“We’ve seen firsthand how they empower their fans to embrace things that we believe to be true: that stigma surrounding mental health deserves to be challenged, that your story deserves an audience, and that together we can embody a defiant sense of Hope,” Moses said. “We look forward to standing alongside Nothing More on this journey toward Truth.”

Nothing More will be touring in support of 2017’s The Stories We Tell Ourselves, which features singles “Just Say When,” “Let ’em Burn,” “Who We Are,” and “Don’t Stop.” The LP follows 2014’s self-titled.
