Pennsylvania-based metalcore band August Burns Red have announced the initial dates on their headlining “The Dangerous Tour” in 2019.

Currently, the group is touring throughout Europe, making stops in Germany, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, France, Italy, and the UK throughout 2018.

Their North American trek, presented by Sound Rink, is due to kick-off on January 24 in Lexington, Kentucky, followed by shows in cities like New Orleans, Spokane, Pomona, Minneapolis, Quebec City, and Buffalo. Poughkeepsie, New York will round-out the tour on March 2. Throughout the run, they will receive support from Fit For a King, Miss May I, and Crystal Lake.

“There are a lot of cities we missed on our first tour of Phantom Anthem and we wanted to make sure we hit those places on this album cycle,” the band said in a statement. “It’s been far too long since we’ve played most of these cities and we can’t wait to return with our pals in Fit For a King, Miss May I, and our new friends from Japan — Crystal Lake!”

August Burns Red’s latest record, Phantom Anthem, was released in October 2017 and features tracks “King of Sorrow,” “The Frost,” and “Invisible Enemy.” The LP follows 2015’s Found In Far Away Places and Rescue & Restore from 2013.
