Dead & Company have revealed their first date on the road next year at the University of Colorado, preceding their highly-anticipated 2019 tour announcement.

While it has already been confirmed that the band would play at Mexico’s music festival Playing in the Sand 2019, their first U.S. date has been leaked – showing that the band will be in Boulder, Colorado from July 5 to 6. The announcement was posted over the weekend on the band’s Reddit channel, as well as the University of Colorado’s website until Sunday when it was taken down.

The announcement included ticket office times, parking times, and the show’s start time, listing Live Nation and AEG as co-promoters. There was also information regarding a two-day ticket package.

CU spokesman Ryan Huff was asked about the Dead & Company concerts and replied via email, “We plan to host concerts in summer 2019, but we are not ready to announce anything yet on bands or dates.”

While the school has taken down the information, it’s very likely that the group will visit CU once again. For the past three summers, Dead & Company has played two-night stands at Folsom Field after 15 years of a music hiatus at the venue. Since 2016, no other band has booked the stadium, and even this past summer, the group performed on July 13 and 14.

Dead & Company is comprised of popstar John Mayer, along with the four surviving members of the Grateful Dead – singer/vocalist Bob Weir, drummers Mickey Hart and Bill Kreutzmann, bassist Oteil Burbridge, and keyboardist Jeff Chimenti. At this time, no official tour dates have been announced, but fans are speculating that the group will make a huge announcement soon.
