Metal bands Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive have announced a co-headlining trek, dubbed “Collapse The World Tour.”

The duo, who have been touring together as a part of Parkway Drive’s Australian tour, will head back to the states in April for a string of shows. They’ll kick things off in San Francisco, California, followed by shows in cities like Dallas, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Niagara Falls, Philadelphia, and Nashville before wrapping-up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 16. After the Burial will open the show at many of the gigs.

Both Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive will take turns closing the show, varying per date. They are also slated to perform at the music festival Sonic Temple on May 17-19 in Columbus, Ohio and Houston’s So What?! music festival late April.

“This co-headlining tour with Killswitch Engage is a landmark for Parkway Drive in North America,” Parkway Drive vocalist Winston McCall said in a statement. “Having smashed our way across the land for over a decade now, it is a humbling and defining moment to be sharing this slot with true heavy metal icons and personal heroes.

“We have always aimed to maintain the highest standard of energy, connection and entertainment at our shows, a standard that has been set and maintained by KSE their entire career. The concept of how epic this tour will be is mind blowing to me. Bring on the insanity!”

Killswitch Engage’s Jesse Leach noted that the band “couldn’t be more happier” to share the stage with Parkway Drive again.

“Parkway Drive puts on an incredible live show and we are excited to combine forces and bring the energy every night to a town near you,” Leach said.

Earlier this year, Parkway Drive dropped a new album, Reverence, which took the No. 1 spot on the album charts in their homeland of Australia and scored a spot in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. Killswitch Engage, who just signed with Metal Blade Records this year, plans to release a new album in 2019 to follow 2016’s Incarnate.
