Superstar Ariana Grande was slated to perform a special New Year’s Eve weekend concert in Las Vegas, however, due to health concerns, she had to postpone the gig.

Grande was supposed to headline a show at the Cosmopolitan Hotel on Saturday night, marking her first show since her split with former fiancee Pete Davidson earlier in 2018. The 3,200-seat venue, the Chelsea, is located inside of the casino. Tickets for the show exceeded $1,000 each.

“Vegas, I’m currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won’t be able to see u this weekend,” Grande said in an Instagram story. “I love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year.”

According to TMZ, sources connected to the singer said she had been sick all last week and was suffering from bronchitis. The show will reportedly be rescheduled at a later date, aside from Grande’s previously announced shows as a part of her Sweetener World Tour.

In October, Grande revealed world tour dates in support of her fourth studio album, Sweetener, which dropped in August. Throughout the trek, she’ll visit cities like Washington D.C., Toronto, Denver, Los Angeles, and Orlando before closing-out the North American run on June 14 in Brooklyn.
