Indie-rocker and frontman of Passion Pit, Michael Angelakos, revealed a tour this spring in honor of the 10-year anniversary of Manners.

The tour is set to kick-off in Tempe, Arizona late April, followed by gigs in cities like Las Vegas, San Francisco, Denver, Chicago, Niagra Falls, and Boston. Washington, D.C. will close-out the 18-date trek on May 25.

Manners, which dropped in 2008, was Passion Pit’s breakthrough debut album. The LP, which followed 2008’s EP Chunk of Change, featured the single “The Reeling” as well as “Sleepyhead.” Since its release, Passion Pit garnered success with the smash-hit “Take A Walk” from 2012’s Gossamer, earning a spot on multiple Billboard charts. From there, the band released Kindred in 2015 and Tremendous Sea of Love in 2017.

Angelakos has not announced new music at this time. He told Pitchfork in 2017 that he will continue to make music, but is taking a step back from working as a “commercialized artist.”

“I cannot continue to operate in this space, this industry, due to the way that it functions and treats people that work for it or create within it,” he said. “It does nothing to promote the health required in order to produce the work it sells. The risks associated with being a commercialized artist and embarking on a typical album release, like endless promotion and touring, have nearly killed me.”
