R&B artist Khalid, who has quickly climbed the charts with hit singles like “Young, Dumb, and Broke” and “Location,” has officially announced his first-ever headlining arena tour in support of his sophomore album.

The “Free Spirit World Tour” will kick-off in Phoenix, Arizona at Gila River Arena, followed by gigs in cities like Los Angeles, Tacoma, Dallas, St. Paul, New York, Toronto, and Boston before wrapping-up at Miami’s American Airlines Arena. Ahead of the trek, he’ll perform at festivals like Calilfornia’s Coachella, Beale Street in Tennessee, Alabama’s Gulf Shores, and UK fest Hangout, Parklife, and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.

Free Spirit, Khalid’s second studio album, will drop this Friday, April 5. So far this year, he’s released tracks “Self” and “My Bad,” which are set to appear on the new LP. Additionally, he’s been featured on an array of smash-hits like “Lovely” with Billie Eilish and “East Side” with Halsey and Benny Blanco. His debut record, American Teen, was released in 2017 and garnered attention with “Shot Down,” “American Teen,” and “Hopeless.” Last year, he released the EP Suncity.
