The legendary rockers of ZZ Top will celebrate their 50th anniversary as a band with a world tour this year, making stops across Europe and North America.

The group’s home state of Texas will kick-off the trek mid-May with shows in Dallas, Houston, and Austin. From there, they’ll head overseas for a spring jaunt through Europe, making stops in cities like Helsinki, Berlin, Hamburg, Prague, Paris, and London. In late August, they’ll head back to the states for a round of shows; Irvine, San Diego, Boston, Cleveland, Augusta, Charlotte, and Tampa are among the cities they’ll hit before wraping-up in West Palm Beach, Florida on October 20.

Cheap Trick will open the show during most of the summer and fall U.S. tour dates, with Bad Company appearing during the three-day stint in Texas. Additionally, Lynyrd Skynyrd will offer support during select shows.

“It’s been five decades, and I think we’re starting to get pretty good at all this!” Gibbons said in a statement. “We’re truly excited to be appearing across the continent this summer and fall, playing our bluesy kind of rock like we started in ’69. The beards, Frank’s excepted, are perhaps a bit longer, yet nothing else has changed. We’re keeping it that way.”

Fans can expect to celebrate ZZ Top’s greatest hits like “La Grange,” “Sharp Dressed Man,” and “Gimme All Your Lovin’.” The Rock and Roll Hall of Famers have consistently released music throughout the last half-century; their latest LP, La Futura, dropped in 2012.
