Kesha, the pop star who is now exploring various genres, is heading out on a cross-country tour to support her forthcoming release High Road.

The 26-date trek will kick-off on April 23 in Sugar Land, Texas, followed by shows in Austin, Las Vegas, Atlanta, and Nashville. She’ll appear at venues like The Mission Ballroom in Denver, Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, Cincinnati’s PNC Pavilion at Riverbend Music Center, and New York City’s Pier 17 before wrapping-up in Windsor, Ontario at The Colosseum. Throughout the outing, she’ll be joined by Queen of Bounce Big Freedia.

High Road, one of the most anticipated albums of the year, is due January 31. So far, Kesha has dropped the lead single “High Road,” which also features Big Freedia, as well as “Resentment” with Brian Wilson and Sturgill Simpson and the anthem-jam single “My Own Dance.” The LP is her first since 2017’s Rainbow, which garnered attention with smash-hits “Praying,” “Woman,” and “Hymn.” Rainbow offers a stark difference to Kesha’s previous work, where she rose to fame in the pop scene for party jams like “Tik Tok” and “Blow.”

Kesha describes the upcoming tour as “vibrant, rowdy, heartfelt, and badass.”

“While shaking my ass at the stroke of midnight, ringing in the new year, new decade, with my new album coming this month, I thought to myself, ‘Damn. I think the best medicine for happiness and having a beautiful life is to celebrate it while I have it, with the people I love the most. And ummm..shake my ass. As often as possible,'” Kesha said in a statement. “So…this is my HIGH ROAD TOUR announce!!! If you wanna come shake ur body and hear the new jams LIVE, this is the place to do it!

“And, on the HIGH ROAD TOUR, you will have not 1, but 2 grand supreme expert body movers – BIG FREEDIA and YOURS TRULY — ME! Come see us on tour this spring!”
