Roger Waters and My Chemical Romance announced blockbuster tours this week, with several dates landing on Wednesday’s best-sellers, according to Ticket Club sales data. Waters’ This Is Not A Drill tour took nine spots on the top 20. Waters has been putting on extravagant live shows for four decades since his time with Pink Floyd, with the musician promising this tour will be just as theatrical and politically-charged.
My Chemical Romance is enjoying an already-successful reunion. After selling out Los Angeles’ Shrine Expo last month, the band announced a 14-date North American tour for the fall. The band’s Los Angeles show took the No. 4 spot, with five other shows landing on the best-sellers.
The Super Bowl maintained its No. 1 spot, followed by George Strait’s Minneapolis show in August. Aerosmith’s 50th-anniversary hometown show at Fenway Park took No. 3, while Pearl Jam’s Baltimore concert rounded out the top 5.
