Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown announced the initial batch of cities scheduled on its forthcoming national tour.

The mythological musical will begin the North American tour later this year. However, the only confirmed performance dates thus far are not until 2021. San Diego’s Civic Theatre is one of the early stops in January 2021, immediately followed by a stint at the Smith Center in Las Vegas. The production will visit Dallas’ AT&T Performing Arts Center in May 2021 and has also booked stops in Tulsa and Minneapolis the following month.

Hadestown premiered at the Walter Kerr Theatre last year and became Broadway’s most decorated new show when it took home eight Tony Awards over the summer, including Best Musical honors. The show concurrently follows the love stories of Orpheus and Eurydice and Hades and Persephone. As the title suggests, it is set in the underworld that has defined various Greek myths.
