Slipknot will hit the road this summer to headline their Knotfest Roadshow tour following 2019’s inaugural event.

The trek will kick-off on May 30 in Syracuse, followed by gigs in Toronto, Memphis, Dallas, Orlando, and Alpharetta. Along the way, they’ll make stops at amphitheaters and outdoor pavilions like the DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkston, Austin’s Germania Insurance Amphitheater, Charlotte’s PNC Music Pavilion, and the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Birmingham before wrapping-up at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas late June.

The metal band will be joined by post-hardcore groups A Day To Remember, Underoath, and Code Orange. Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor said in a press release that Knotfest “set a precedent last year,” and this year, they’ve picked bands that are “exciting as hell,” noting that he “can’t wait to enjoy them along with the rest of the fans.”

“We are stoked to share the stage with a band that has defined heavy music for an entire generation,” A Day To Remember guitarist Neil Westfall said in a statement.

Slipknot will be touring in support of their 2019 LP We Are Not Your Kind. The record, which follows 5: The Gray Chapter from 2014, features singles “Unsainted” and “Solway Firth.” A Day To Remember are set to drop a new album this year, featuring new tracks “Rescue Me,” “Resentment,” and “Degenerates.” Underoath and Code Orange both released new music in 2018, the LP Erase Me and EP The Hurt Will Go On, respectively.
