Jam Productions and AXS have announced a long-term agreement for ticketing, issuing a press release on Thursday evening. The deal will “bring an enhanced ticketing experience to Midwest concertgoers,” according to the release.

“As an independent concert promoter and venue operator, we look for every opportunity to compete more effectively,” says Jerry Mickelson, CEO of JAM. “When we evaluated our options, it was clear that only AXS could give us all the tools we need to improve the fan experience and drive incremental revenue, along with better functionality to manage our business. We are excited to partner with them.”

The integration will roll out at Chicago’s Riviera Theatre, The Vic, and Park West beginning late this year.

“We are incredibly proud to partner with Jerry and his team at JAM to provide a premium ticketing solution and white glove service for concerts and events at his iconic venues,” Dean DeWulf, SVP for Music at AXS says.

Beyond simple ticketing, the integration will allow for the deployment of dynamic pricing technology, giving JAM the ability to move prices up should they determine that fans are willing to pay more than the advertised price of tickets. The release also touts “marketing tools to personalize the overall fan experience,” which is indicative of the level of data AXS (and every other) mobile-only ticketing platforms bring to the table for their partners.

AXS is a subsidiary of concert promotion and venue giant AEG, similar to Ticketmaster’s status as an arm of promotional giant Live Nation Entertainment.
