Ms. Lauryn Hill fans in Philadelphia will have to wait a little longer to see the R&B sensation take the stage.

Hill was slated to perform at the Wells Fargo Center in the south side of the city Monday night, however, the singer took to social media Sunday night to share that the gig would have to be postponed so she could rest her voice.

“Dear, Philadelphia, It is with disappointment that I am writing this note to you,” Hill said in a post. “On the advice of my physicians, I have no choice but to postpone the show tomorrow. I need to rest my voice to prevent any more serious strain or damage to my vocal cords.”

She noted that the start of this tour “has been incredible,” and after she recovers, “I look forward to giving you the show you deserve with a fully recovered and healthy voice.”

The show has been rescheduled to November 25, where Hill says it’ll be “a special one.” Ticketholders should hold onto their original tickets for the rescheduled gig. Those who are unable to attend should seek refunds via point of purchase.

Hill is currently touring in celebration of the 25th anniversary of her smash-hit 1998 record The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. During a majority of the trek, her former group Fugees will provide support. The run kicked-off on September 8 in Minneapolis and she’s set to stop next in Toronto on October 26.

“Toronto, I’ll see you next,” she said in the post. “Resting for a few days then heading your way.”
