The hard-rock legends Guns N’ Roses revealed a massive tour for 2025 spring and summer, starting with two shows in the Middle East before heading to Europe and the UK.
The 24-city run, dubbed, “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things,” will kick-off May 23 at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, marking the band’s first-ever performance in that country. The second stop in the Middle East will be at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, UAE on May 27.
The European and UK leg of the trek will begin on May 30 at Shekvetili Parka in Shekvetili, Georgia, making stops in Istanbul, Turkey; Barcelona, Spain; Florence, Italy; Munich, Germany; London, UK; Stockholm, Sweden; Warsaw, Poland; Budapest, Hungary; Vienna, Austria; and more before wrapping-up at Germany’s established metal fest Wacken Open Air on July 31.
Public Enemy and Rival Sons, along with Sex Pistols — featuring Frank Carter — will join the band throughout the tour on select dates.
“Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things” marks the first time Guns N’ Roses will head out on a global tour since their massive trek in 2023 – where the veteran rockers performed in the Middle East, Europe, and the UK. Fans are also expecting the band to announce North American dates soon.
The powerhouse rock band’s latest studio album dates back to 2008 when they released Chinese Democracy, their sixth record. When the band reunited in 2016, they dropped several singles including “ABSUЯD,” “Hard Skool,” “Perhaps,” and “The General.” Guns N’ Roses will celebrate their 40th anniversary in music as a band in 2025.
Currently, the band consists of Axl Rose (lead vocals, piano, percussion), Duff McKagan (bass guitar, backing and occasional lead vocals), Slash (guitars), Dizzy Reed (keyboards, piano, backing vocals, percussion), Richard Fortus (guitars, backing vocals), Frank Ferrer (drums), and Melissa Reese (synthesizers, keyboards, backing vocals, sub-bass, programming, percussion) on stage.
A general ticket sale will begin on Friday, December 13. Fans can visit the band’s official website for tickets and more details.
