System of a Down Books Three Stadium Shows in 2025
System of a Down will take over three stadiums next year, featuring various rock heavyweight special guests.
The gigs are set to take place in late August and early September, kicking-off at New York City’s MetLife Stadium with Korn on August 25. They’ll continue with a show at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 31 featuring Avenged Sevenfold, followed by the final performance at Toronto’s Rogers Stadium on September 3 with Deftones.
Across all three shows, Polyphia and Wisp will provide support.

Tickets for the newly-announced shows will head on sale starting with an artist presale on Wednesday, December 11, followed by a general on sale Friday, December 13 at 12 p.m. local time via the band’s official website. Fans can also score tickets via secondary ticketing site Ticket Club (use code TICKETNEWS for a free one-year membership).
System of a Down previously discussed slowing down with touring; in an interview with LiveSigning, vocalist Serj Tankian noted that a long tour is “not just physically exhausting, but it’s artistically redundant after a while, repeating the same thing.” Instead, they’ve opted to play various one-off shows and special events. This past August, the band teamed-up with Deftones to play the first-ever ticketed event at the historic Golden Gate Park.
