The Used to Play Three Nights in U.S. Cities, Play Different Album In-Full

The emo icons of The Used are heading out on a tour across the globe next year in honor of their 25th anniversary. Throughout the run, they’ll stop in a city for three nights, and during each night, they’ll play one of their first three albums in full. The albums include their 2002 debut self-titled, 2004’s In Love and Death, and Lies for the Liars from 2007.

The trek will kick-off in Detroit at The Fillmore fro April 3 to 6, followed by Boston’s House of Blues, The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, New Jersey, and New York City’s Irving Plaza. From there, they’ll appear at Chicago’s House of Blues, the Odgen Theatre in Denver, The Union in Salt Lake City, The Wiltern in Los Angeles, and San Diego’s House of Blues.

In late May, they’ll head to London to play a gig at The Dome, as well as appearances at Hatfield and Leeds’ Slam Dunk Festival. The tour will pick-up again with three-night runs Down Under, where The Used will play Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.

The Used frontman Bert McCracken noted that “these first three records are what put The Used on the map.”

“I can’t wait to experience the joy in playing all three records from front to back,” McCracken said. “I know it will be an amazing time. I wouldn’t miss it for the world. Sending love to you all and I hope to see you there!”

Bassist Jeph Howard said that the band feels “extremely. lucky and humbled to have been a part of something way bigger than ourselves for the past 25 years.”

“To everyone that has been there from the beginning or is just starting out your adventure with us thank you,” Howard said. “Here’s to the next 25!”

The Used arrived in 2002 with their self-titled debut and began amassing widespread recognition with singles “The Taste of Ink,” “Buried Myself Alive,” and “Blue and Yellow.” They continued with 2004’s In Love and Death, featuring hits “All That I’ve Got,” “Take It Away,” and “Under Pressure” with My Chemical Romance. Lies for the Liars debuted at No. 5, garnering attention with tracks like “Pretty Handsome Awkward.”

The 2025 tour follows The Used’s appearance at this year’s emo revival festival When We Were Young in Las Vegas, where the group performed their self-titled debut in-full.

Tickets for the anniversary tour will be available for presale starting December 11 at 8:30 a.m. local time, followed by a general on sale December 13 at 8:30 a.m. local time here.
