Country up-and-comer Jason Aldean continues to make his mark with an extensive tour of the U.S. that stretches from late spring through the end of summer. The four-month outing is a mix of festival and fair appearances, supporting stints and a few solo dates.

Nearly 50 concerts are inked from the May 3 opener at WQYK’s Country Fest in Clearwater, FL, through the September 19 closer at the Wagon Wheel Festival in Lake Elsinore, CA. Highlights of Aldean’s solo and festival gigs are a May 6 show at B.B. King Blues Club in New York, NY, a May 29 concert at War Memorial Auditorium in Greensboro, NC, and an August 9 set at Headwaters Park in Fort Wayne, IN.

The biggest stops for the young musician come in the form of his six-show supporting stint with country giant Keith Urban, who also tapped acts like Sugarland and the Zac Brown Band for his rotating tour line-up. Aldean’s opening dates include a July 9 show at the Qwest Center in Omaha, NE, and an August 13 set at the Mellon Center in Pittsburgh, PA.

Aldean’s June 12 performance at the CMA Music Festival also doubles as his fourth annual Concert for the Cure, which will benefit breast cancer awareness organization Susan G. Komen for the Cure. The event will include performances by special guests and a silent auction of various country music memorabilia, according to Aldean’s official Web site.

Aldean is touring behind his third studio album, “Wide Open,” which hit store shelves on April 7. The record has hit No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and topped the independent albums chart.

The rising country star headlined the seventh annual CMT on Tour for two months last fall. In the years since releasing his 2005 self-titled debut, Aldean has also accompanied acts like Dierks Bentley and Tim McGraw on tour for select shows.
