Since its debut in the late 1980s, Nine Inch Nails has earned its place as one of the world’s leading industrial rock bands. Led by frontman and only principal member Trent Reznor, the band’s lineup has changed over the years depending on Reznor’s creative vision both in the studio and on stage.

Nine Inch Nails has also earned itself the reputation as a must-see live act for its impressive and ever-evolving production level, making its concerts a hot repeat ticket. The band’s 2008 Lights in the Sky tour legs featured an interactive light show that earned the band acclaim from fans and critics alike.

Reznor has also become known not only for his musical talent and the production value of his shows, but also for being an outspokent opponent of ticket scalping. Nine Inch Nails often retains a percentage of the best tickets for each show, sells them in limited quantities to fan club members, and prints the buyer’s name on each ticket.

In 2009, Reznor announced that Nine Inch Nails would go on an indefinite hiatus after completing a farewell tour of sorts with the recently reunited Jane’s Addiction.
