Eagles

Eagles is an American country rock band that formed in the early 1970s and released its self-titled debut in 1972. During that decade, the band released a total of six albums, all of which placed within the Top 50 on the U.S. charts. However, the group underwent several lineup changes before eventually breaking up in 1980 due to tensions within the band. During the next 14 years, the band members pursued solo careers, with Joe Walsh and Don Henley attaining the most success before reforming the Eagles in 1994 for regular reunion touring. Eagles released the band's only album since the '70s, "Long Road Out of Eden," in 2007. The effort topped the Billboard 200 and country albums charts in the U.S. and had similar success in the UK and Australia. Since that album's release, the band has toured international arenas and stadiums extensively.

The team is scheduled to play the Philadelphia Eagles tomorrow, December 28, which is the first Tuesday night NFL game since 1946, according to the league.

Philadelphia Eagles appear unhurt financially by Michael Vick signing

By Brian Kebel

Despite an initial whirlwind of controversy, the signing of Michael Vick by the Philadelphia Eagles may not have the negative affect on ticket sales that was expected.

From a football perspective, he will be a dynamic asset to the team's offense, but now it also appears that Vick could help contribute to the Eagles’ financial success through jersey and ticket sales, or at least not hurt them.
