Tickets for the upcoming tour of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band as well as tickets for upcoming concerts from British singer Lily Allen are on sale throughout the weekend February 9 as compiled by Ticket News.
Today's onsales kick off with tickets to catch classic rock stars the Allman Brothers in concert in New York City. Also on sale today and throughout the weekend are tickets to catch British singer Lily Allen in concert. Known for her headline grabbing actions as much as for her singing, Allen will be performing in Toronto, San Diego, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. Also on sale today with additional dates available throughout the weekend are tickets to catch the joint concert tour from Elton John & Billy Joel. Cities on sale include Columbus, OH and Kanata, Ontario.
Lily Allen tour takes 'It's Not Me' for spring spin in U.S.
In preparation for the North American release of her sophomore album, British pop singer-songwriter Lily Allen has announced plans for West and East Coast concerts this spring. The 15-date run picks up April 1 at the House of Blues in San Diego, CA, and closes out April 22 at Phoenix Concert Theatre in Toronto, ON.
The coast-to-coast jaunt includes an April 2 concert at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA, an April 11 performance at First Avenue in Minneapolis, MN, and an April 19 gig at the new House of Blues venue in Boston, MA, among other dates.

Lily Allen Seattle Show Canceled
British singer-songwriter Lily Allen's Sept. 15 appearance at the Paramount has been canceled. Her work visa was revoked by U.S. authorities earlier this month, and "the reinstatement process has proven lengthier than anticipated," according to a statement released today by concert presenter Live Nation.
Lily Allen posts sick note online
Pop star Lily Allen has published a picture of a sick note from her doctor online to explain the cancellation of four European festival performances.
"I've got sinusitis and strep throat," the singer wrote on her MySpace page. "I don't even know what that is."
The 22-year-old, whose hits include LDN and Smile, says she has been advised to take a couple of weeks off.
Allen reassured fans she would be fit for her appearance at the V Festival in the UK later this month. . .

First it was exhaustion and general drunkenness, this time British pop star Lily Allen may have to cancel some upcoming U.S. shows reportedly due to her visa being revoked.
BBC News and Pitchfork are reporting that Allen was temporarily detained by U.S. authorities in Los Angeles over the weekend and questioned about an alleged altercation in the spring in the U.K. between the singer and a photographer. Her U.S. working visa was reportedly revoked, but Allen was allowed to remain in the U.S. for the time being. According to Pitchfork, she is currently filming a music video in Las Vegas with rapper and actor Common for his latest album Finding Forever. . .

Lily Allen Cancels Most of Her U.S. Shows

Momma always said that drunk is no way to go through life. At least temporarily, U.K. pop princess Lily Allen forgot that message.
The singer has cancelled the balance of her upcoming U.S. tour dates partly because of the bottle. She plans to still play some a bunch of summer festivals and a couple of shows in New York and Los Angeles, but she told her fans on her MySpace page that it’s time for a break.
“I am tired, but more than that I don’t think I have been giving my best performances recently. I have been getting really drunk because I’ve been so nervous about doing bad shows, and I don’t want people spending money on going to see a show that isn’t the best it could be,” she wrote in her blog. “I am not falling apart at the seems, I am not suffering with exhaustion, I am not pregnant, and I am not going to rehab.”
Allen has been touring almost non-stop since July of last year in support of her critically acclaimed debut album “Alright, Still.” She plans to do some writing for her second album while she rests. ...
