Rock band Def Leppard also had some disappointing news for fans earlier this week. The group was forced to postpone two dates on its current tour due to a band member’s bereavement. Few details were revealed, but the concerts are expected to be rescheduled.

Yes has outlined its latest 2009 tour route. The progressive rock band now has two dozen European concerts lined up for the end of the year, beginning with an October 31 performance at Sport Hall Pasienky in Bratislava, SLO, and ending December 11 at Sentrum Scene in Oslo, NOR. The late 2009 itinerary includes stops on November 11 at Olympia in Paris, FRA; November 17 at Apollo Hammersmith in London, ENG; November 26 at Olympia Theatre in Dublin, IRE; and December 7 at Philharmonie in Munich, GER.
The Dead Weather, the latest project from the multi-talented Jack White, has announced plans for an October tour of the UK. The venture will kick off October 19 at Manchester Academy in Manchester, END, and end October 29 at O2 Academy Brixton in London, ENG. In between, the band will stop for gigs on October 22 at HMV Picture House in Edinburgh, SCO, and October 25 at O2 Academy Bristol in Bristol, ENG, among other dates.
Friendly Fires are currently on the road through the end of the month for a summer round of North and South American tour dates, which the band will follow with a newly confirmed block of late 2009 tour dates for the U.S. and Canada. The trek will pick up November 19 at The Mohawk in Austin, TX, and end December 4 at the Paradise Rock Club in Boston, MA.
