Monsters & Critics reports that film star Jessica Alba recently confirmed that she is in talks to play the role of Karen in a revival of David Mamet’s “Speed-the-Plow,” but the thought of starring on Broadway terrifies her. Madonna played the role in the 1988 adaptation.
Jessica said: “I’ve been asked to do it, but it’s just talk at the minute. It’s not really happening yet. I’m freaked out!” Alba is quoted as saying.
“I would be honoured to do it. I don’t know if audiences would even want to see me on Broadway.”
