Since the Sept. 25 release of their label debut, “A Night at The Ritz” (Scratchie/New Line Records), Chicago indie group Office has been on the road this fall for their first national tour, and have now scheduled a short December trek that kicks off Dec. 8 at Denver’s Larimer Lounge and winds down Dec. 21 at Chicago’s Metro.

Following a quick holiday break, the quintet kick off a special series on Jan. 9 supporting Chicago Public Radio at the Biograph Theater in Lincoln Park. The series, which takes part over a six-month period, will feature a wide range of cultural figures and issues in Chicago. On Jan. 12, they will share the House of Blues stage with rapper and fellow Chicagoan Common for the “Chicago Youth Owning Their Future” benefit concert.

Office’s music has been heard on the small screen and later this month, the group will appear in an MTV News package, airing on MTV, MTV2 and MTVU, spotlighting the five-piece as a Band to Watch.
