On the heels of the recently announced Vineland Music Festival next summer in New Jersey, comes the question of who will ticket it.

UK based Festival Republic, owned by Live Nation, has teamed with C3 Presents to launch the new event. C3 Presents out of Austin, TX regularly uses Front Gate Tickets for its events, including Lollapalooza in Chicago and Austin City Limits in Austin. Live Nation currently contracts with Ticketmaster for the majority of its events and has been public about its plans to launch its own ticketing service when its contract with Ticketmaster expires next December.

“We’re still in negotiations,” Front Gate’s Jeff Kreinik told TicketNews. “We don’t know yet.”

More than 100 rock bands are expected to perform at Vineland Music Festival, Aug. 8-10, 2008, on a 550-acre site in Vineland, NJ.
