The initial 18 bands have been confirmed for the 14th annual installment of the Vans Warped Tour slated for next summer. Officials of the long-running mulit-act touring festival have yet to announce specific dates, but the tour has confirmed: Gym Class Heroes, The Briggs, The Academy Is… , The Bronx, Reliant K , Every Time I Die, From First to Last, The Street Dogs, Reel Big Fish, Norma Jean, We the Kings, Devil Wears Prada, Pierce the Veil, The Color Fred, 3Oh!3, The Lordz, Katy Perry and Shwayze. All of these acts will appear on the entire tour.
“In continuation of last year, we’re striving to have a diverse line up that includes a little of everything while still catering to our core fan,” tour organizers posted on the Warped website.
Additional bands will continue to be announced over the next several months; more than 70 acts performed during the 2007 tour.
Founded in 1994 by promoter Kevin Lyman, the 2007 version logged 45 dates, sold more than 622,467 tickets and grossed $18.6 million.
