By Jane Cohen and Bob Grossweiner

Former Hüsker Dü and Sugar frontman Bob Mould, whose new 10-track album, “District Line” (Anti-), comes out Feb. 5, has mapped out a series of club and theater dates in March. The tour begins March 5 in his hometown of Minneapolis, MN and ends the 30th in Vancouver, BC.

“The Silence Between Us,” the first single off the album, is available as a digital single on iTunes and Amazon.

Mould has resided in Washington, DC for the past five years. “This record really sums up the past five years of being here,” he said in a statement. “These are funny stories about me and my friends–things I see or overhear. It’s been a very positive experience, and ‘District Line’ is my way of putting it down in a book.”
