The annual Rainforest Foundation Fund Benefit Concertis set for May 8 at Carnegie Hall in New York and features a stellar lineup of artists, including James Taylor, Sting, Billy Joel, Brian Wilson, and Chris Botti.

While the onsale dates for tickets have not yet been set, the foundation has announced the prices of premium ticket packages for the event, which will include a gala post-concert supper:

$50,000 for a Platinum Package – (16 tickets for concert and supper)

$25,000 for a Gold Package – (8 tickets for concert and supper)

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

$2,500 for an individual premium ticket – (concert and supper)

$600 each for a limited number of “Concert Only” tickets.

The Rainforest Foundation Fund was created in 1999 after 10 years of working as the Rainforest Foundation International, which was founded by Sting and Trudie Styler. It was formed to promote worldwide awareness of the need to conserve the tropical forests, to support the indigenous peoples in their efforts to conserve their land and develop their sustainable methods of resource management. In addition, the group aims to protect those inhabitants against any violation of their rights which are universally recognized in International law.
