A one night only joint appearance by Elton John and Democratic Presidential Candidate and former First Lady Hilary Clinton leads off onsales for the week ending March 22, as compiled by TicketNews.
Appearing the night of April 9 at Radio City Music Hall in New York, John will present a solo concert in support of Clinton’s campaign. Both former President Bill Clinton and Hilary are expected to speak at the event, but will they also join John for a song? Who knows, but tickets for the event go on sale tomorrow, March 19.
Carlos Mencia, comedian and star of the Comedy Central show “Mind of Mencia,” has a stand-up show in Colorado on sale this week. Comedienne and star of the Bravo reality show “My Life on the D-List” Kathy Griffin has her own stand-up show in Massachusetts on sale this week.
There are several high profile musical acts that have concerts on sale this week. Parrotheads will be happy to know that Jimmy Buffet has multiple dates on sale throughout the week, as do rock group Iron Maiden, and classic crooner James Taylor. Alternative rockers Death Cab for Cutie have a concert in Colorado on sale later this week, and emerging rap superstar Soulja Boy, whose dance craze of the same name swept the nation last year, also has several dates on sale this week, including his headlining stop at the 2008 Super Fest at Niagara Falls.
Fans of the Celtic Woman will want to check out the High Kings, a male folk group from Ireland managed by the creators of the famous quintet of Irish women. The High Kings have numerous tour dates on sale later this week.
