Atlanta, GA indie band Manchester Orchestra launched a 23-date North American tour last week in support of their critically acclaimed debut album “I’m Like a Virgin Losing a Child.” The band is touring with Los Angeles band Say Anything and shows in Philadelphia, New York and Towson, MD have already sold out.

Hailed by Rolling Stone as one of the “10 Artists ToWatch,” the quintet’s goal to play 200-plus shows in 2007 was realized as they toured the world with the Kings of Leon, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Brand New, Saves The Day and Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, among many others.

While on the road, Manchester Orchestra also performed at the Bonnaroo
Music & Arts Festival, Australia-Laneway Festival, Reading and Leeds, and Austin City Limits Festival. They also appeared on the “Late Show With David Letterman” and “Late Night with Conan O’Brien.”
