Miley Cyrus will be headlining this year’s July 4 Stadium of Fire event at the LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, UT, with support from the Blue Man Group. Hosting the event will be talk radio and cable news personality Glenn Beck. Approximately 50,000 tickets will go on sale April 4.

Cyrus most recently performed at Reliant Stadium in Houston, TX on March 9 to an audience of 73,500, setting a venue record.

“We are thrilled that Miley would accept our invitation to headline this year’s show,” said Brad Pelo, senior executive producer for Stadium of Fire, in a statement. “After exploring the possibility for two years, we feel fortunate that at a time when she is at the top of her game, she would agree to be a part of our Independence Day celebration.”

Traditional elements of the show will continue and expand this year, including more than 1,000 Stadium of Fire dancers, a military flyover and the biggest stadium fireworks show in America.

“We are honored again, for the sixth year in a row, to be invited by the Pentagon to broadcast our celebration to US military men and women around the world,” added Pelo. “There’s a special spirit to our Independence Day celebration as we are connected via satellite with those who labor every day to preserve the freedoms we enjoy. It is an honor to share our celebration with them.”

Stadium of Fire is presented by America’s Freedom Foundation, a nonprofit, non-partisan organization supporting educational programs and events that promote freedom and democracy. This year’s Stadium of Fire sponsors include KUTV 2, Clear Channel Radio Group, Utah Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, Daily Herald, Provo City and Zions Bank.
