R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails (NIN) and Stone Temple Pilots are scheduled to perform at the 10th anniversary of the Voodoo Experience festival on Oct. 24-26 in historic City Park in New Orleans. The Neville Brothers will be making their first-ever Voodoo appearance on a bill that also continues to honor the rich musical traditions of the Big Easy, with the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Irving Mayfield’s New Orleans Jazz Orchestra and The New Orleans Bingo! Show.
Previous artists who have performed at the event include Rage Against the Machine, Green Day, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Eminem, Beastie Boys, Black Crowes, Tiesto, Wilco, Ben Harper, Dr. John, The Pixies, Iggy Pop, New York Dolls, Spoon, Tool, Coheed & Cambria, Kermit Ruffins & the BBQ Swingers, Jack Johnson, Zap Mama, Kings of Leon, Cowboy Mouth, Blue October, Social Distortion, Rebirth Brass Band, White Stripes, Marilyn Manson, Flaming Lips, Broken Social Scene, Secret Machines, Chemical Brothers, 311, Garbage, Counting Crowes, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue and Hot 8 Brass Band.
A special presale of a limited number of $100, 3-day weekend tickets will go on sale on May 2 at the festival website.
