Legendary bassist and songwriter Andy Fraser, a former member of the band Free and best known for “All Right Now,” has independently launched a new website, campaign song and video in support of Democratic Presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama. The focus of Fraser’s efforts, however, move beyond just supporting Obama; the artist is seeking to encourage youth to get involved in the democratic process in general, regardless of who they support.

“Like other citizens of the world, I am not unaware of the global significance of the upcoming U.S. elections,” Fraser, a U.K. citizen, said in a statement. “I may not have a vote, but I have a voice. So united in spirit, let’s get the word out!”

Obama has also been endorsed recently by Bruce Springsteen, Dave Matthews and Roger Waters. Fellow Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has received endorsements from Elton John, Barbra Streisand, Tony Bennett, Carole King, Quincy Jones, Carly Simon, Willie Colón, Goo Goo Dolls, Lupe Fiasco, 50Cent, Merle Haggard, Madonna and Barry Manilow.
