In addition to replacing the Allman Brothers Band as the closing act of the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival on June 15 in Manchester, TN, Widespread Panic has a summer full of concerts through Aug. 29 in Snowmass Village, CO. The 19-city, 27-date tour includes two Canadian concerts – Toronto and Ottawa – for the first time in more than a decade.
Widespread Panic’s most recent album “Free Shadows,” which was released in February, features new guitarist Jimmy Herring, who replaced George McConnell late last year. McConnell joined the group in 2002 after founding member Michael Houser died of cancer.
